Gary Marshman

Gary Marshman, co-owner and co-founder of Eagle Ridge Firearms Academy, brings over 27 years of United States Army Special Operations experience to our training classes. A retired Sergeant Major, with service in 7th, 12th and 19th Special Forces Groups, as well as Special Warfare Training Group. He is a qualified expert with virtually all US and foreign light and heavy weapons. He has extensive tactical and operational experience in the offensive, defensive and Close Quarter Battle (CQB) employment of handguns, rifles, carbines and light automatic weapons. Gary served his nation in combat with the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force -Afghanistan in 2004.

A staunch NRA member, Gary is multi-discipline NRA instructor qualified. His certifications include: Pistol, Personal Protection in The Home, Personal Protection Outside The Home, Refuse to Be a Victim Seminars, and Chief Range Safety Officer (RSO). He is also a graduate of the 4 Day Defensive Hand Gun Course from the prestigious Front Sight Firearms Training Institute.
